How?

You can do this online using your computer or smartphone with an Internet connection.

But first, you need to be registered to the SSS online facility. If you are not registered yet, click here to read the detailed instructions on how to do it.

Once you’re registered, you can now log in to your SSS online account anytime and anywhere.

Steps to Check SSS Loan Balance Online

Step 1

Visit the SSS website by typing https://www.sss.gov.ph on the browser. Under Member Login, type your User ID and Password, and click Submit.

Step 2

When you’re successfully logged in, hover over your mouse cursor to E-Services, then click Inquiry.

Why should you check your SSS Loan Balance and Loan Statement?

This is important so that you’re aware of your loan balance. You wouldn’t know how much you’re supposed to settle if you don’t check it or if you’re not informed by your employer.

Remember, always keep the receipts of your loan payments. It will be helpful in the event that your payments are not posted on your account.

What to do if you can’t access the SSS website to check your loan balance?

My first tip is always to try to use Internet Explorer when accessing the SSS website. If it’s not available on your device, then try other browsers, but make sure you follow the instructions to be able to login successfully.

You may also try to access the sss.gov.ph at night or on weekends because there’s less traffic on the site, thus, you have a higher chance of being able to access the site successfully.

The last option is to go the nearest SSS office and inquire for your SSS loan balance at the Information or E-Information Table.

Should you want to pay your remaining loan balance, you can get a queue number for the cashier and settle it there.
