The Social Security System of the Philippines (SSS) will be accepting applicants for the SSS Loan Restructuring Program (LRP) on all Saturdays in September 2016:
- September 3
- September 10
- September 17
- September 24
This will be really helpful especially to those who work from Mondays to Fridays and who cannot go on leave just to apply for SSS Loan Restructuring Program.

This initiative is part of SSS’ 59th Anniversary celebration with the theme “SSS at 59: Kaagapay at Kabalikat sa Pagbabago”.
Boobie Angela A. Ocay, SSS Assistant Vice President for Member Loans Department, said,
“We understand that most of our members cannot visit the SSS offices during weekdays given their working schedule so in celebration of our anniversary month, 109 branches will be open on all Saturdays of September to accept LRP applications.”
What is SSS Loan Restructuring Program?
This is one of the programs of the Social Security System that aims to help SSS members in paying off their past due loans with SSS.
This is specifically for those who have been affected by the various calamities that have devastated some parts of the country as declared by NDRRMC or the national government.
This was launched on April 28, 2016 and will be available until April 27, 2017.
How to Apply for SSS Loan Restructuring Program?
Interested applicants should bring all the requirements to the nearest SSS branch including the duly accomplished application form, valid IDs, and affidavit of residency.
These forms can be downloaded from the SSS website or you can get these from the SSS branch.

Members who are residing or working overseas can also visit the nearest SSS foreign offices to avail of this program.
Ocay said that there should be a lane to process to accept and process members’ applications as well as to answer their inquiries related to posting of LRP repayments.
