Many SSS members have been complaining that they cannot access their SSS contributions online and they have varied reasons.
One of the possible reasons why they could not access the SSS website properly is because they’re using Internet Browsers other than Internet Explorer. Maybe they’re using Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari or some other browsers.
When you access the SSS website, a notification appears reminding the user that they recommend using the latest version of Internet Explorer when accessing the site.
But even if you’re using other browsers, you should still be able to access the SSS website.
How?
There are additional steps that you need to follow and some users or SSS members get impatient that they ignore the next set of instructions on the screen. Thus, giving them errors and not allowing them to access the site properly.
So, what should you do?
The fact that SSS recommends Internet Explorer, the answer is easy enough. Use Internet Explorer to access the website.
I regularly check my SSS online account and I never had any issues accessing the SSS website using Internet Explorer.
How do you do that?
First, you need to type https://www.sss.gov.ph on your Internet Explorer Browser. Once it’s up, log in to your account by typing your username and password, and hit Submit.
If you haven’t registered your SSS account online yet, then you must do it first. Click the button that says, “Not yet registered in My.SSS? Click Here.” And just follow the next steps or read this article for detailed instructions.
3 Steps to Check SSS Contributions Online or Actual Premiums
Step 1
Log in to your SSS online account (if you have registered already).
Step 2
Hover over your mouse cursor to E-Services, then click Inquiry.
Step 3
Hover over your mouse cursor to Member Info, then click Actual Premiums.
All your posted SSS contributions will now be shown on the screen.
This is where you can see if there are months that you or your employer missed paying your SSS contributions.
If there’s any, then you can report it immediately to your employer if you’re employed, or to SSS directly and show your proof of payment through your payment receipts.
Still can’t login to SSS online?
If you’re still having a hard time accessing the SSS website, I would suggest that you do it beyond SSS’ office hours, either at night or on weekends. That way, you have a higher chance of being able to access it since fewer people are accessing the site.
If Internet Explorer really doesn’t work for you, then try other browsers. Just make sure you follow the instructions that will appear on the screen so you can successfully access the website.
If all else fails, then just visit the nearest SSS office, line up at the E-Information Table, and inform them that you need to check your SSS contribution. Some of them might be able to give you a printed copy of your contributions, or if not, just take a photo of it on their screen.
I hope you found this helpful. Let me know if you have any questions about this article.
