I have read some comments both on this website and on our FB page that some people are having a hard time accessing their SSS online accounts after the Social Security System has made some changes/updates on the website.
I don’t know why but when I check the site, nothing much has changed and accessing my contributions online is still easy and fast.
The steps are pretty much the same with my previous post: The Simplest Way to Check your SSS Contribution on Internet Explorer.
I only noticed one simple thing on the main menu navigation bar.
Before, it looks like this:
The main navigation bar has the following tabs: Home, E-Services, and Member’s Profile.
Under E-Services, there’s Inquiry, Apply for Salary Loan, P.E.S.O. Fund, Submit Maternity Notification, Submit Technical Retirement, and Simulated Retirement Calculator.
Now, take a look at the new version of this page on the SSS website:
As you can see, E-Services is now on the third tab with fewer sub-menu.
A new tab was also added and that is the Payment Reference Number (PRN). Starting January 16, 2018, you can now pay your SSS contributions regularly using your PRN and have them posted instantly.
With the new updates on the SSS website, is it now easier to check our SSS contributions online?
Let’s see!
Step 1 – Go to sss.gov.ph to open the official website of the Philippine Security System.
As of this writing, this is how the main page looks like:
The headline is based on their latest news so expect that it will be updated regularly.
Step 2 – Under Member Login, enter your User ID and Password.
Read this if you haven’t registered to the SSS online platform yet:
Step 3 – Once you’re successfully logged in, point your mouse cursor to E-Services, then click Inquiry.
Step 4 – Point your mouse cursor to Member Info, then click Actual Premiums.
Step 5 – View your SSS Contributions or Actual Premiums
Isn’t it pretty simple? Well, it is.
You’ll only have a problem accessing the SSS website if you forgot your User ID or Password. In that case, check out this article on how to reset it.
If you cannot access the website using browsers other than Internet Explorer, make sure to follow the instructions that will pop up on the screen. Or better yet, just use Internet Explorer for easier navigation.
To contact SSS, you may call their customer contact center at 920-6446 to 55, email them at member_relations@sss.gov.ph, send a private message through their FB Page, or visit the nearest SSS branch.
If you’re abroad, you may reach the SSS through its Contact Services Unit.
