How to Send SSS Inquiries through Text SSS Facility

Are you an SSS member? Do you know that you can now inquire about your SSS membership status, contributions, loans, or claims by sending a text message or SMS?

Yes, you heard it right!

“Text-SSS” facility is a text-based information service that allows SSS members to inquire about any of the following info through SMS (short messaging service) or commonly known as text message using your mobile phone.

• document requirements in SSS membership registration
• number of his/her contributions
• loan application status
• loan balance
• status of benefit claim
• document requirements in filing benefit claim
  • SSS Sickness Benefit
  • SSS Maternity Benefit
  • SSS Disability Benefit
  • SSS Retirement Benefit
  • SSS Death Benefit
  • SSS Funeral Benefit
• change in member record
• SSS branch location
• feedback on SSS concern

How to Register in Text-SSS Facility

To register, just create a message using the format below and send it to 2600.

• Format: SSS REG <SSNUMBER> <BDAYmm/dd/yyyy>
• Example: SSS REG 3375003982 09/27/1980

Once your registration is successful, the system will send a text message with your unique system-generated Personal Identification Number (PIN). This PIN will be required when you send inquiries to the Text-SSS Facility (2600).

Important: There is a service fee of P2.50 for Globe and Smart subscribers and P2.00 for Sun Cellular subscribers.

Some of you may complain about the service fee, but just think that it’s still cheaper than going to and from the SSS branch to inquire about SSS.

How to inquire about your SSS Contributions, Loan Status and Loan Balance?

1. To inquire about your SSS Contribution, text the following format and send to 2600.

• SSS CONTRIB<SSNUMBER><PIN>

2. To inquire about your SSS Loan Status, text the following format and send to 2600.

• SSS LOANSTAT<SSNUMBER><PIN>

3. To inquire about your SSS Loan Balance, text the following format and send to 2600.

• SSS LOANBAL<SSNUMBER><PIN>
